The Bjäre non-profit making organisation Föreningen Bronstid pursues
an ambitious programme to take care of and communicate the cultural heritage
of the peninsula. For some years they have been developing a Bronze Age centre
on the peninsula where visitors of all ages will be able to enter into the Bronze
Age life with its duties and leisure, domestic animals, plantations, and artisans
in their workshops. In connection with the centre and in co-operation with the
local school authorities an experimental educational programme for school children
is pursued as well. This organisation will be responsible for the communication
of the research of the national project and also maintain a website on the Internet. Föreningen Bronstid was the initiator and leading
partner of the European Cultural Paths project and is the administrative partner
of the national project in EPCL.
